About Dr. McManus
Dr. Marisol McManus was born and raised in Puerto Rico and did her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Puerto Rico. She traveled extensively overseas and it was during her years living abroad that she got acquainted and interested in Oriental Medicine. Dr. McManus holds a Master of Acupuncture degree from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, Fla.
Over her many years in practice, Dr. McManus has helped many patients suffering from a variety of health problems, including chronic pain, fibromyalgia, digestive and menstrual disorders, fertility, anxiety, stress, high blood pressure, skin issues, and more. She is well skilled at assessing each person's unique condition at the levels of body, mind, and spirit for a deep and lasting healing experience.
Dr. McManus is a diplomat with the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the State of Florida. In addition, Dr. McManus holds certifications as an Acupuncture Detox Specialist, Acupoint Injection therapist, and Medical Qigong Practitioner. She is also certified as an Oriental Facial Rejuvenation practitioner.
Additionally, Dr. McManus is very active with Boricua Barefoot Doctors, an organization dedicated to empowering and strengthen communities by providing affordable, basic integrative healthcare and lifestyle education. Throughout this year, she will hold several free clinics in Puerto Rico through this organization.
